This Art piece is called “busy landscapes”.  Its dimensions are 16x24 on luster paper.  I made this design in 2008 using several programs including Photoshop and Illustrator.

It reminds me of the view from a moving train.  I used to take the rails on a daily basis and I would sit looking out the window almost the whole trip.  And in those observations, I kept thinking of how many things happen at the same time all around us yet we almost never stop to admire it.  This piece is my admiration for that view from the train.

The bright red in the sky, the teal and baby blue under the brown horizons are very prominent here.  I feel that using basic solid colors bring out the idea in a more pleasant manner.  Not too over powering but not quiet either.  When I look at the piece, my eyes keep bouncing from one side to the other but never losing my path.  I want everyone who sees this design to have the same experience.

I chose to express my art through digital media over the conventional channels because I believe that the medium given me the freedom to experiment.  There are certain effects and perspectives I like to portray that I wouldn't accomplish using paint and an easel, or a pencil.  My main love is creating a piece that expresses exactly what I want to parlay.
