Enter Jazz for Peace Website             Enter Empowerment Grant info     Jazz for Peace rose from the ashes of the horrifying tragedy of 9/11 as a poem written by our founder while  witnessing those very events on a rooftop less than a quarter of a mile away from what is now known as          “Ground Zero” on that fateful morning.  This poem, later set to music, paved the way for a historic concert at the United Nations in New York City and highly acclaimed Benefit Concert Series which has united more world leaders than any other previous musical event.
