A musical instrument is a “weapon” that   promotes intelligence, creativity, artistry, individuality, humanity and most of all Hope! Your donations of Musical Instruments and Funds needed to repair and transport them along with our recent partnership with AFM Local 802 to promote the Musicians Union through our Instrument Donation Program gives Jazz for Peace hope that we can continue our work towards a day when no child that wishes to play an instrument will be denied one due to lack of funds or availability.

May 22, 2012 – Jazz for Peace founder Rick DellaRatta returns to NYC from his concert in CA to donate this Yamaha Keyboard to CASA that same evening.

"…what an extraordinary program you have….It is so impressive how you and your organization have committed yourselves to ensuring that some of the most at-risk, underprivileged children have access to such a vital growth tool, music….I truly believe this will significantly change my CASA Youth's life in ways she never could have imagined just a few months ago.
